Let's start with the name of this awesomely independent boutique salon. "Bewitched" was the name of my favorite TV show growing up as a kid. I'm pretty sure I thought Elizabeth Montgomery was my Mom. Or at least I pretended she was. I found this salon, not based on reviews or a swanky overpriced storefront, but because of the cool sign. I wasn't disappointed. I made an appointment through Facebook,as each stylist has their own schedule and I was paired with Nan,one of the owners. The salon is comfy, cozy, funky chic. It felt like getting your hair done in the basement of your cool, best friend's split-level ranch: everyone was so friendly and the vibe is very relaxed. The chairs are along the walls with a great seating space in the center. The dryers are set up under a vintage couch. Even Nan's sweet doggies work here, too!
Nan is a master stylist with years of experience. I loved what she did with my color and style. My shampoo was done by Bradley, who was also amazing! I'm looking forward to going back. I wasn't pressured to buy product, I got great hair,at a great price and I enjoyed my service. I am a huge fan of supporting local artists and small businesses. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Bewitched to anyone looking for a unique and "bewitching" salon experience !
