Great with Curls! Sam is an Awesome Stylist It is difficult to find a stylist who can do a great job with curly hair. I am so glad I found Sam! I am a customer for life. I have funky wavy curly hair. I’ve had so many terrible haircuts because I never found someone who could deal with my funky curls. Too many treat it as if it were straight. After years of having my hair botched, I gave up and cut my own hair for over a decade. After I reluctantly decided I needed help to get a new style, I found a great stylist at an expensive boutique salon downtown. I was crushed when my stylist moved back to California 2 weeks before my wedding. After another long search, and a couple bad cuts later, I finally found Sam. She is the only other person to give me a good cut. She listened to what I wanted and works well with my curls. I get the same quality cut and style as that boutique salon but for half the cost and so much closer to home.

Amber was so accommodating (despite me not knowing what I wanted to do with my hair!) and asked enough questions to give me the cut I wanted. Will definitely be coming back!

Fabulous haircut! First time here and I went from a horrible haircut from another salon to perfection at Maida. I'm so grateful she was able to turn my disaster into the cutest haircut that is bringing me compliments from strangers. I love my short haircut. I look soo good.

Found on Yelp and will be going back for my next haircut if I can. VERY reasonable prices, especially compared to the $$ I was spending at a salon in Fremont for just a wash, cut, and style. Nice people, small salon. Super professional. Amber listened to what I wanted, looked at a picture I brought, and then made my hair look great. I recommend to anyone in the nearby area.
