I am not going to lie, I am still pretty upset with the incident that happened with my hair yesterday and today. I came in with blonde/light brown hair asking for a fairly simple medium brown ash color in which Heather dyed my hair BLACK. It wasn't even in the same ballpark. And I mean black - Heather agreed that she messed up badly. To her credit, she offered to fix it complimentary, but that meant me taking more time to come in and have more chemicals applied to my hair. She was able to strip the color out but I am left with a much more red/warm tone than I wanted (and there is still some of the black around my roots and face). I was explicit that I HATE red tones in my hair and upon getting home my hair definitely has RED tones, not yellow like she kept insisting. Its exactly the type of color I showed her that I DO NOT WANT. Its also darker than I wanted as well. But there wasn't really much I could do because I feared that if I asked for the ashy again she would take me back to the black (because she kept saying ashy will take me dark - I have had my hair toned ashy for year, never have I had a stylist mess it up this much). I also think they need to work on professionalism - she should not keep telling me "color is easy" after royally screwing up my hair. And she also should not offer her opinion of "I think warm tones look good on you." to try and cover for her mistake. I was clear that I hate them and that they have been a nuisance to get out of my hair - and now I'm stuck dealing with them. It's my hair and I did not want her opinion at this point. I was referred to Heather by the owner because she is one of your "best colorists" and I'm extremely disappointed. Not to mention I had to pay over $200 to come out with something that I told her from the beginning I do not like. Needless to say I will not be returning, and discouraging others from doing so as well.

Ashlynn gave me a great cut for my wash and go lifestyle. She also did an amazing job fixing a bad home color job! I can't wait to try out the other services here.

I LOVE this place! The staff is very friendly and professional. Stylist, Heather, is great with color! I just went to their customer appreciation holiday party and had a great time. Thanks Studio 262!

The worst salon I have ever went to, I went there to get partial highlightes and that was it. I was quoted $80 on the phone, which I consider high for partial highlightes but was willing to pay for it as a one time thing. However, when I went up to the front to pay, she said $145 and I stood frozen. Luckily, I had a 15% off coupon which brought it down to $114. I have never paid that much for highlightes ever. She lied to me and took advantage of me. She said she upcharged me because I had thick hair and because she used toner. I felt like I was completely taken advantage of and lied to multiple times. I will never be back at this salon, they just try to take you for all your worth. I was so sickened. She also took almost 4 hours just doing partial highlightes, I will never be back and would never recommend this salon to anyone.

The staff at Studio 262 were very friendly and welcoming. Heather listened closely to exactly what my kids wanted for haircuts. The space is beautiful without being uptight or stuffy.
