I'm 59 years old and my hair has never looked better! The young lady who does my hair, Maria, seems to know exactly what I want even when I don't. She's able to do my hair in a way that last a very long time.

Atmosphere was nice. It was welcoming. My hair was a mess when I got there. I haven't had it done in some time. I had a stylist that looked like she knew what she was doing but after the color, I realized that the money I spent there was really not worth it. She didn't listen to how I wanted my hair color. She understood the cut, sort of. She didn't give me the bangs that I wanted. But I can totally live with that. But the color. Absolutely not. I wish I could go back in time and just say no. I'm so disappointed. I knew I should've said something, but I figured if I would do as I'm told and wait it out for a bit, the color will turn the way I want it...big mistake. I wish I could've received some reimbursement for my hair. I gave it a two stars for the atmosphere. That's about it.

I don't think I've ever had a unsatisfied experience with Heads Up. I discovered the studio when I wanted to transform hair half-way down my back to short. In trepidation I kept my appointment; in relief and confidence I left. As others have mentioned, the interior of the establishment is roomy and appealing. The impression is a smoothly run business of experts. Currently, I usually see Lisa. When I showed a picture of a style I'd like, without hesitation, she claimed, " I can do that", and she did! With total satisfaction on my part. The staff is always chipper, friendly, and upbeat. Francis and Jean stock their shelves with state-of-the-art hair care products and accessories. There's nothing 'ho-hum' about Heads Up.
