I have naturally curly hair but wanted a perm because my front half is very curly but the back half is straight. Went in for a consult with Karla (owner) who persuaded me into a style and cut instead to bring out my natural curls. She could have made a bigger profit off of me by doing the perm but she is a pro and knew how to boost my curls naturally. She also took the time to teach me how to take care of my curls. I'm so happy I came here and will definitely be returning.

Had the best experience at illustria salon! Hands down best salon in Milwaukee!!! I would recommend Marissa for anyone and everyone looking for any service! I've been seeing my stylist Marissa here for a couple of years and I always have a fun, wonderful experience. The whole crew works in tandem, helping each other and creating a first class experience for the clients. I have very long hair and they use only the most gentle products and techniques. Regardless of hair type, they know what they are doing and have low, competitive pricing.

Was a first time client & scheduled cut and root touch up. Hair came out orange! $150 and was expected to pay an additional $30 to fix this mess! Cut good but don't suggest having your color done there.
