Its a shame that places like the "Mabou Village Beauty Salon" are allowed to operate. There should be some rules to prevent unlicensed practices, by incompetent people such as these guys. Everything about this place is crooked, even the name is misleading, don't get fooled, don't waste your time, don't throw away your money. Been there once, got the worst overpriced haircut in my life. (by a miserable someone called irene) - do yourself a favor, go somewhere else.

Irene's shop is one of the tidiest I have ever seen. Known for her low prices .She does fabulous men cuts as well as children hair cuts.

We come to Mabou every summer with our children. This summer our daughter needed a simple haircut, so we went to the Mabou Village Beauty Salon and met with Irene Gillis. The service was awful, Irene was disrespectful and rude with our daughter. The most expansive and worst haircut she's ever received. The place stinks, there's mold on the walls and ceiling, the floor was filthy. It was the first and last time we go there.
