The staff are ridiculously rude. I called inquiring about a perm service, asking if they offered a digital perm. The woman who answered the phone wasn't sure of what I was asking about, so she passed the phone to a man, who I am supposing is Aldo - the owner of the salon. He began to talk down to me, almost scolding-like based on the tone of voice and his choice of words. Since he has never heard of this type of perm, he claims that it doesn't exist, and implies that I am dumb for inquiring about it. He then asks if I have blonde hair. He may have had other intentions, but to me, it seemed like a "dumb blonde" reference, based on the way he had been speaking to me already. I understand how the thickness and texture of hair is important knowledge when it comes to a perm, but how is the color of hair relevant? As I politely tried to end the conversation, he once again brought up, in a condescending tone: "so remember, digital perms do not exist. It's not a machine that does your perm, it's the skill of a hair stylist".
This is an unacceptable way to speak to potential clients. I will never be visiting this salon, and will also advise friends and family not to as well.
