Went for a simple straight trim, just wanted even cut, came out with it uneven all over nit a single piece was the same length! My son had his done and he had a bald spot that looked like it was accidentally shaved. My husband went in and came out looking like he was in the army (imagine cartoon square head!)

I walked into this salon for a wash and style. The price on the board for this service was $8-$12. After waiting about 10 minutes, I was called up by a blonde woman with an accent. She didn't introduce herself so I don't know her name. I got shampooed and was taken to her chair. I told her I wanted it blow dried with a round brush for volume. I said I didn't want anything flat or straight. My hair has alot of natural curl so generally a round brush gives me volume and smoothness, when used properly. She turned me away from the mirror and began the process. When she was finished, she turned my chair and my hair was a big frizzy mess, and flat on top. No volume, no waves, no smoothness. I commented that it was really frizzy, She agreed. I said I couldn't leave like this and could she fix it? She said she could smooth it out with an iron. I really didn't want the flat , straight look but at this point it was the only choice. After she was finished, she said the charge was $20.35. When I pointed to the sign and said, but your sign says 8-12, she replied, "yes, but I had to use an iron and that's extra". I commented that if she had blow dried it properly she wouldn't have needed to use an iron. She stood there, no apology or anything. I was embarrassed as other people were there watching all of this unfold so just paid and left. Yes , I did tip her, against my better judgement. I will never, ever go back to this place. What a big ripoff, I will make sure to tell everyone I know.
