I am only writing this to warn others! My daughter scheduled an appointment on her 16th birthday and requested a dye and hair trim. My sister went with her seeing as I was at work (it was on the Monday after Christmas break from school). The colour she asked for was “as dark brown as possible that is not black” This has been her colour for over a year and we went to this salon because someone had raved about it. He showed her some swatches and said the black is too dark but you can choose from these. When the appointment was done, the stylist asked my daughter if she liked the colour and she replied it was okay. He confirmed “just okay?” And she replied “yes, just okay”. She has been crying since she came home. She works part time and saved her money so she could have her hair refreshed for her birthday. I called the salon and the stylist that coloured her hair said to me he told my daughter that the colour she picked is lighter than her existing colour. He said he could go as dark as her existing colour for an additional $50. My daughter and sister both confirmed that this was never explained to her. She went in with explicit request of a certain colour and I do understand she chose the swatch, however it was NOT explained that she chose a colour that was lighter then her existing colour. Nor do I think she should pay for the correction. STAY AWAY THERE ARE MANY OTHER MORE THEN CAPABLE SALONS IN ORANGEVILLE THAT DO NOT TREAT THEIR CUSTOMERS THIS WAY.

Val did such an amazing job on my hair, he was very patient and very gentle with my insanely coarse hair. I loved the results and you could tell he puts a lot of care and detail in his work. This place was very cozy and clean.

Valentino is an excellent hairdresser with Over 25 years experience. I have gone to him for colour and cuts for 4 years. His work is impressive. Valentino works to meet the customers expectations.
