Im going to give this shop a 1 rating not because of the work but because of the owner's unprofessional demeanor of dealing with conflict. I must say the first time I got my hair braided there was by a worker, she did a.nice job, I was out at a reasonable time, no problems. The second visit my hair was done by the owner who has a very putting off attitude. She said she told me on the phone that I had to pay extra (pay per bag for hair the shop used) I was not familiar with braid shops charging you $175 for bobbed braids and then extra for hair, who does that? While she was braiding my hair she called out every bag of hair she used and I asked her if I had to pay for the hair, like I said I'm not used to being charged for bags of hair used when your are already starting at $175. At the end Jackie argued with me about how she told me before, I was like okay I have cash but will have to put the hair used amount on my credit card. She was like okay, just next time you have to pay for the hair. I am not one for arguments or for long drawn out disputes but Jackie just would not let the bone loose. I go there today to get a touch up and here she goes again with telling me about the price of the hair not being included I explain to her how now I understand how she works, and once again she will not let it go, like I said I'm not one for huge arguments, I just want to get my hair done and go about my busy day. At one point I told her how rude and nasty she was being to me as a client, yes Jackie, your are dealing with a paying customer. She gets so mad that she refuses to do my touch up; she got real emotional/unprofessional.
