the first cut that i had at salon 17 was with becky, and she is amazing! i wanted to make sure i came back because she knew her stuff and i had so much fun. i went to my appointment at the new location today at 6:30pm. firstly the parking sign says salon 17 is in unit 3, but unit 3's door sign says alyssa's hairstyling which was confusing. the stylist inside was not becky. besides confirming my name i was not spoken to or told that i would be seen late. at 7, half an hour after my appointment time, she had only JUST started straightening the client's hair. i confirmed my appointment time with the stylist before simply leaving. i am so confused because my first experience with salon 17 was the best haircut ever but this experience was really disappointing, i have never waited this long before and even then the client's hair wasn't even finished. :(

I have fine, thin hair and horrible to work with. I often find that stylists are judgmental and the whole experience is defeating and I leave feeling worse than when I went in. Becky is unique --- and really skilled. When you approach the salon, it does not look like much from the outside but when you step in it is a bright cheerful space. Becky gave me the best haircut I have had in years and I am going back in for highlights. I am so happy that I finally have a hair stylist who is nice and highly competent. Forget all the fancy salons and try Becky - she is a good!

I have been to a lot of different salons and have never really loved my cut or colour. I have even had a few really bad colour experiences at salons. At Salon 17 - Becky did a perfect colour and cut! It was a much different cut than what I am used to and she pulled it off perfectly. I couldn't be happier with it! Oh and her prices are amazing! I highly recommend Becky, I have only been a few times now, but she really puts time into making sure you are happy. Thanks Becky!
