The opening page of this salon's website offers a quote by Janis Joplin - 'Don't compromise yourself, you are all you've got.' - this inspired me further to write my review.... (1) Disgusting and totally unsafe washroom. Floor covered in at least 3 cm of water. I slipped and fell backwards hard on the wet ceramic tiles of the bathroom. I feel thankful that I only broke a toe and not a hip! I have been very sore and stiff for the past 3 days. The owner's response to this accident was defensive and unsympathetic, implying the fall was my own fault for venturing to cross the floor! We are all aware of the recent flooding problems Huntsville has faced, however other businesses have successfully dealt with this to ensure the safety of their customers and avoid possible litigation. (2) The aesthetician was pleasant and obviously not feeling well. However, I cannot make any excuse for the dust-like particles that were varnished over and obvious once the nail polish had dried. The pedicure I received left my toe nails at different lengths which was very noticeable. It was a rush job and without doubt the poorest manicure and pedicure I have ever received. (3) Basing my review on safety, cleanliness and courtesy, together with quality, service and professionalism, I have given this business one star and that is only because I do not seem to have the option of rating less than that.

While passing through Huntersville, I called ahead and was able to get in pretty much right away to see John for a touch up of my undercut. Not only was everyone there very welcoming and friendly but John’s own professionalism and competency really shined through. I was in and out of there in less than ten minutes and he did a better job than the original stylist back in the USA. He is also willing to do designs if he has the stencil ahead of time, which spoke to the level of pride he takes in his work; he wants it to be perfect! I would definitely recommend stopping by!

Went in for a trim on long, one length hair styled with a side part and came out with shoulder length, layered hair cut on a center part. I repeated what I wanted several times. Nice guy but he just chatted on and kept cutting. The owner’s response was ‘I did not change it too much’. It will take months and months to grow this shaggy hair back to my style. Very disappointed.
