Sticker shock

I popped in yesterday to check prices for full foils. I was shown the price list and while $180 was higher than my at home stylist charges I thought I’d splurge because it’s been over 15 years since I’ve had a salon cut. I was very happy with the results and Phillip did a great job. I couldn’t quite understand everything because his accent is pretty heavy. I was not happy at all when I left the salon. The bill came was close to $274, almost $100 more than quoted. I told him that when I came earlier I was told it would be $180. He pulled out the price list and showed me it was printed as $180 +. I didn’t notice that little plus sign and if it was a little more the $180 or if I had really long hair (which I don’t -it’s to my shoulders) I wouldn’t complain, but almost $100 difference? Like I said, I haven’t been to a salon for a long time but is this normal practice? I feel like I was hoodwinked and there’s not much I can do about it after the hair treatment was complete. 🙁

Clean and friendly but very over priced. When I brought my 2 young daughters in around Christmas, I was charged $40 total for trims and they each had their hair styled. I was very impressed. This time around, their hair wasn't even sprayed with water, their curly hair was brushed dry and trimmed and not styled at all. I was charged $30 for one and $35 for the other. They're 4 and 6 yrs old. Complete rip off, we will not be back.

So far, I've gotten two haircuts here and the quality is really good. Michael's skills are amazing and he makes my hair look really good. Five stars

We moved from NS to AB two months ago and I was so nervous choosing a new stylist coming from our small town where I has been getting my hair done for almost 7 years by the same amazing person..I then find Blerta at Posh Hair Studio and I can honestly say that she is probably one of the best stylists I've ever had!! I'm naturally blonde but had some growth and breakage and she knew exactly what I was going for!! Not only is she fantastic at what she does but she is super sweet and so easy to talk to! Not only have I found my new hairdresser, I've also made a great friend!

Kendra made my hair look soo good and it’s exactly what I wanted! I’ve been getting tons of compliments on my hair too🙈 Will definitely be coming back!
