It's hard leaving a good hairstylist and being lucky enough to find someone just as good. Only reason I left my old hair stylist was to find something closer to home. It's also hard transitioning into that forbidden grey area but Riana is helping me get there with as little pain as possible. She is attentive and takes her time ensuring your cut is just right. I've also had good experiences with other hair stylists at this salon. Would recommend for sure. Only con is lack of parking. And the current parking is difficult to maneuver.

This is the second time that I have been at this location because I followed my stylist Allie! The offering of a drink is the same service as at the previous place she was at. The other extra I took her up on is a treat (macrons, I think). They were delicious! Aside from that, Allie worked her usual fantastic magic on my hair. I absolutely love her massages as she washes and rinses my hair. I love the music that is usually playing while I'm there -- great music station. Lady Gaga is one of my favorites! It is a very clean place and its furnishings are very contemporary with a bit of retro to boot. Try MUD -- you'll have a great experience and your hair will look great! I like the compliments that I get once I'm out and about; even more satisfying when it's coming from a young man!

I had hair services from 4+ stylists and all are amazing, especially Erin who I literally made a point to see before heading to Nunavut and then again before relocating to Halifax so that says it all right there!

Nuh-uh - out of three appointments Holly was late in getting to me on all 3 occasions - the last time I was on time @ 3:30 and, although she walked by me and said nothing, she finally started on my color at 4:10 - 40 mins to wait! One can only drink so much water and eat so many 'snacks' and read so many magazines - good thing i brought my book! I got no apology for her being late, was left with color on my hair 40 mins when i know it takes only 20. When i asked if i could have some pink waves to blend she put 2 huge bright pink spots on each side of my head...although I said it's was a bit off and too intense she simply stated "oh it'll wash out"...i was even embarrassed after that to go into Safeway, washed my hair 7 times that night and 4 more the next day - yes, i counted - so that i could show up at work not looking totally ridiculous on Monday. That's it for me! I pay for the service - be on time and at least have some humility - easier to forgive.
