I have waited to give my opinion/review of Sugarmoon waxing services until I was able to have sugar waxing performed at another salon and could compare experiences. I am sure this review will be deleted as there are no negative reviews visible on their page. First the person I booked for my waxing services called in that day and they assigned me someone else with much less experience. The waxing was extremely painful and I left there bleeding and not all of the hair was removed. 4 hours the bruising started to appear. I messaged the salon and asked to speak to a manger. I got a call the next morning and the response from the manger was “ you must have sensitive skin”. When I voiced my disappointment that they did not call to let me know the original esthetician was not working, her reply was “ we are too busy to call clients and just book them with whoever is available “. This is not acceptable to me. I have since had two more sugar waxes from another salon without extreme pain or bruising. I feel this salon is more about how many appointments they can book and not truly concerned about their clients. I am not even sure the girl that performed my waxing was had a license or proper training. Bruising is due to technique the majority of the time. Instead of apologizing for the bad technique, it was blamed on sensitive skin.

The quality of care is noticed from the moment you walk in the door. The customer is always greeted with a smile and friendly employee eager to assist. I personally have never had to wait and I have always been pleased with my overall experience. I would highly recommend their studio to everyone due to their ability to remain consistent in rendering professional and exemplary services across the board. I could not and would not want to go anywhere else!

The reception staff is always friendly & I’ve rarely waited more than a couple of minutes but the sugarist Kateland is awesome! She is really thorough, informative & sweet. She's also pretty quick which is a plus. Definitely recommend! 👍🏾
