Alma was awesome! I love my hair! I gave a 3 because I had to console my daughter for over 10 minutes while Alma finished my hair. I told my daughter she could buy some nail polish that she had brought to me to ask permission to buy. She went to a corner & started painting her nails not bothering anybody that I could tell. A blonde employee who works there just took the nail polish away from her without saying why. When my almost 5 year old daughter tried to tell her that her mom said she could buy the nail polish, the woman just put the nail polish away with no explanation. I finally calmed my daughter down & discovered that the nail polish had come from the stash the shop uses for manicures & pedicures. I managed to get her to go over to where they keep the nail polish for sale. She brought 2 over, picked one. When she went to go put one of the polish back, she said the man tried to take the polish we were buying away from her & she ran to me. He did come over & ask me if it was polish we were buying because she had been messing with the polish before. I told him that it was, and I wasn't aware the other polish didn't come from where it wasn't on sale. Once again, I had to console a sensitive, crying child for over 10 minutes because some woman didn't bother to explain to my child that the polish she was using wasn't for sale and show her what was available for sale. My child isn't stupid! She would've looked at the polish for sale & stayed away from their stash. It's polish, people! My husband is still irritated about it, & told me I shouldn't go back. I'm torn because, as I said, I love my hair by Alma, but I hate the rudeness showed to my child. I probably will go back when I get back from out of state to have my second child since there are no specialists in Show Low. Hopefully, I won't be as irritated in about 6 or 7 months.

Ashten's Salon Heather you are a horrible person for posting such garbage about my staff and salon. You paid no attention to your child and expected everyone to watch your child. Don't blame us for your bad parenting
They then went on to say that I did admit that she was playing with polish by saying she asked me if she could buy it. She didn't open any polish until she knew it would be hers. I have decided to not go back, and I'm not going to go anywhere that I can't keep my eyes on my children all of the time due to people calling me a bad parent, which I am not. In my opinion, their reply post reflects bad customer service.
