My daughter made an appointment with Maggie's African Hair Braiding in Jacksonville, Arkansas. The lady gave my daughter an appointment for today at 11am, then 30 minutes before my daughters appointment, she texted my daughter and told her to come in at 2 pm. An hour later she text my daughter and told her 2:30. I left my work program so I could have my daughter at her 2:30 appointment. She told my daughter the cost to do box braids would be $150.00 after we get to the salon, the price is changed to $170.00, then $160.00. I told her you told my daughter $150.00 and that is what she has. The beautician told my daughter to take a seat on the couch, and she would be with her shortly. At 4:45pm the beautician still had not started on my daughters hair. My daughter in law left work to go pick my daughter up and then the beautician goes out to the car while they are getting ready to leave and says I will give you a discount, I can take her now. My daughter in law say no, we are good and drove off. My daughter was very upset because of all the changes that took place and her hair still did not get braided.
This is not the way you treat new customers especially a young teen. My daughter will never, ever go there again. And If someone tells me they are going to Maggie's African Hair Braiding, I would advise them to find someone else that knows what time management is all about.😡👎🏾
