I want to love this place. My cut was cute once it grew out about 3 weeks. I give the haircut itself 4 stars, but the salon staff should provide new clients with a bit more information. I let the receptionist know I was a new client and didn't know what the DevaCurl cut was she was talking about. She said, "the stylist will cut your hair dry instead of wet," and that was it. She didn't mention the haircut would be significantly more expensive than a regular cut. I pay 40 for a cut typically...my hair is short. I about choked when the stylist told me the total was 65 after she cut my hair! I tipped 5 so the total was 70. I can't afford 70 bucks every 5 weeks for a cut. I would have opted for a regular cut had I known the price. I might have also been a returning client had the woman who cut my hair bothered to introduce herself or make an attempt at being personable. However, I'm sure there are plenty of other stylists in that salon that are personable and very good at their trade, I just had an experience that wasn't ideal. I may try another stylist at this salon for my next cut.
