Elizabeth sold me shampoo and conditioner. I use it and love it. Elizabeth said it's easy for her to recommend because she believes in the product! She was so energized and helpful it made me feel compelled to make an appointment at the salon. She is so amazing at customer service because all my girlfriend and I were doing was walking by and asked if we could leave our basket while we used her the bathroom. What a great experience and what a creative entertaining sales person Jc penny's has in Elizabeth. I am looking forward to more services at the salon.

My daughter won a free cut and style certificate in a raffle. She took it into Visalia Jcpenney salon. The girl who was cutting her hair was rude the whole time. She did a very sloppy job on her braid. Then when my daughter went to the register to turn in jer certificate the girl was complaining to her associate saying she's not f#*%king dumb a d that she don't work for free and that she was glad she would be the f#$k out of there soon and flipped her off!! The worse customer service I save ever seen! So as I took my daughter's braid down, her hair cut is completely uneven and I will have to take her to another salon to fix it. It's sad when a person doesn't take pride in their work. I do not recommend going to that salon.

Terrible experience. Went in for blonde hi lights & came out with full on red hair with no hilights. She left the bleach on for four whole hours & burnt my hair. Mikayla does not know how to do hair at all. & Victoria seems so rude when she did my sisters hair, literally didn’t not say 2 words to her the whole time she did my sisters hair. Worst staff ever. Mikayla (the girl with red hair & huge plugs) is a terrible stylist & Victoria has no customer service skills. The manager didn’t even show up to help the situation.

I went in to ask if the hair stylist could work on my hair. the first lady that was going to help me seem really nice but then this rud old unhappy looking women who was the receptionist. Rudely interrupted our discussion and proceeded to supposedly help me when I first walked in the reception was nowhere to be found . So it took awhile for them to even help me . If you ask me that is really bad customer service . When I was speaking to one of the hair stylist the receptionist popped out of nowhere .so I told her I like to ombre my hair I have dark brown hair and also told her I know its a process and it takes time and work . Then she said what color is your hair I mean I was thinking in my mind doesn't she see my hair?. I mean what does she mean she didn't explain herself at all. I had my hair completely down so they could see the length and the color I wasn't hiding anything and I wasn't being dishonest I told her recently I had used over-the-counter box color which I know the chemicals are different from salon products. I told her I understood how hard it could be then she told me if I was going to go ask at another salon to not be dishonest and tell them that I use box colors . and I told her what do you mean not to be dishonest I told you when you asked me since the beginning so how was I being dishonest if I told you ever since I explain to you my hair color. That got me furious and I told her I don't understand there's people all around that do their hair the same way I did by coloring with box hair dye.this people go to a salon there's always someone that could do it but you're just pushing me out of here without even a nice explanation. Then this old lady says I don't care what other salons could do it . we're not going to help you here. I'm still really upset about it and never ever would go back again I went because my cousins got her hair dyed and I like the way they did it for her it's really hard to find a good salon so I was hopeful .oh and my cousin also use over the counter dying color and they seem to help her. my cousin is whiter skin and looks a little bit more American .i guess I look more Hispanic and I felt like I was discriminated and felt that receptionist old white woman was racist. Very disappointing and hurtful. If you don't want to be treated this way I wouldn't even step in there

This was my first visit with Christina Clifton. She was very patient and understanding towards my needs and took her time cutting my hair to my satisfaction. I would recommend her to everyone! I will definitely be going back.
