So let me first say the guy who cut my hair did a great job! He did exactly what I wanted. With that being said, I am a licensed cosmetologist, however I cannot cut my own short hair. So after bleaching i went in for a cut. Now going to platinum from very dark should be done in stages I am the yellow stage lol. Giving my hair a treatment and a few days to rest, the stylist next to us asked very rudely if i did my own roots. She asked quite judgmentally. Having worked in salon for many years I know when stylists are being rude about your color job. I didnt feel like explaining to her that i was going platinum and giving my hair a break, not after her rudeness. I know that one comment doesn't seem like much but for those of you who have been to a salon and asked that you know how uncomfortable and judged you feel at that point. For her comment alone I probably will not be back. But again the guy who cut my hair did a great job!

I chose to go to Luxi Salon because I saw several really good reviews about Eva from when she worked at other salons. Apparently a lot of people think that she is really good at cutting hair so I thought I would give her a try. Eva did an excellent job with my hair and she is reasonably priced. She made every effort to squeeze me into her schedule without impacting other customers and I really appreciated that. I think I found somewhere I can go to on a regular basis. I would definitely recommend this salon.
