Just please avoid this place. It might spare you the distress I am feeling now. My regular stylist wasn't available so I went to Expressions for my half weave highlights. Oh god do I regret that. Unfortunately I had my hair done by Courtney, who did nothing but brag about how great she thinks she is and what great schooling she got at Paul Mitchell. She constantly insulted the terrible job that my regular stylist did and complained the whole time. When she was all done and went to brush out my hair, it just fell out in clumps. She left the bleach on too long so all I got was breakage. It was like a nightmare watching all of my hair fall out, I was horrified! And when I commented that I had never had that happen before, Courtney just said "it's not that bad". You obviously don't know what you're doing when your clients hair breaks off in clumps, and it IS NOT OK for your client trust me! I just went home and cried, and I still get emotional when I think about it, or look in a mirror. My hair is completely shredded to pieces. What used to be even long hair down to the middle of my back, is now just shredded. I just can't get over it, I am so distraught. My advice is to avoid Courtney, and probably this salon in general. Head over and see Ashley at 50th Ave salon. She knows what she's doing, and is a total sweetheart.
