Where do I start? VERY RUDE!! I called this salon last week and left a message asking for an appointment. I walked in today about 4 hours after calling this morning. I told the woman (owner? Dyed red hair and blue eyes) what services I was interested in an she asks if I called, which of course I did. She says I'll need an appointment, which will be later on in the week. I don't like her tone or her stare, or the way she's looking at my magazine on the whitehouse (I'm studying Political Science at OJC) or my black skirt. So I say, how much? She starts trying to upsell me on a haircut, which I never mentioned I wanted. For the service I am interested in, she was attempting to charge me 25 dollars, which $10 to $15 dollars more than the local going rate, and $15 more than I've ever paid for this service which I usually get on a monthly basis (hair conditioning with chair sit-in). So then I ask her what she does, (like why the hell her price is almost double the going rate), not only is she now obviously very rude, complete with awkward pauses and stares at me while ATTEMPTING to describe her own product, I then tell her that her price is a lot more than what I have ever paid in Orlando, Florida, where I'm from before OJC. I say thank you, as her rude, very, very RUDE attitude had made me want to go elsewhere. As I'm walking to the door she yells at me, "Go back to Orlando". Thanks for the advice. I booked an appointment with another local salon for this afternoon, and the price is the sane price of $10 and they can tell me what about their services without staring and being very, very rude and yelling at me.
