Customer service was good. My locks were washed with a lot of care. Price was a bit high for interlocking. Overall a nice clean spiritually grounded establishment

There are no words to express how absolutely impressed by and grateful for Truly Rooted Natural Hair & Barber Studio I am. I was traveling to Fort Lauderdale from NYC for a wedding and needed to get my [and the groom's] hair done for the big day. I have to be honest, after living in Atlanta and NYC, where amazing black hair professionals are everywhere, I was VERY worried that I wouldn't be able to find anyone who could produce good stuff in FTL Alethia and her crew made me eat my words. They were absolutely amazing! The design of the salon itself is comfortable, inviting, and clean. The stylists were friendly and engaged in amazing conversation, including mini hair consultations that were very insightful. They really made us feel at home. Most importantly, they can DO SOME DARN GOOD HAIR! They took such great care of me and even greater care of the groom (compliments to the barber for the attention to detail)! He looked amazing on the big day and his bride was ecstatic with the end result. I see why you'll find Truly Rooted in national hair shows competing with professionals at the highest echelons of the industry- they are astoundingly talented! Dare, I say, they are the best? But most notably, Alethia and her team knew we were traveling from out of town, therefore there wasn't much incentive to woo us in an attempt for repeat business. Yet and still, they gave us such great service, that I'm tempted to make an annual trip down just so they can work on my locs. That's how amazing they are. Thank you to Truly Rooted for making my friend's wedding day amazing. I don't have any pics yet, but hopefully, I can update this review once I get them! And to everyone else in the South Florida area - check out Truly Rooted if you want to make sure your hair is on point. You won't regret it!

Alethia Bell did a great job on my loc petal bun. I have a 4c hair texture and she had my edges laid! My locs are 2inches past the shoulder and she made my bun look full which I love. I got compliments everywhere I went. The wash was excellent, products smelled great, and the salon is in a great location. Definitely will return and will recommend.
