I went in yesterday to get my hair cut. I asked for a cut and style. The girl wanted my hair sort of. She only washed the left side of my head and never made any attempt to wash the other side. I told her I wantedit cut to just fine my shoulders and fairly low maintenance. She cut my hair about 2in below my shoulders and just to make it look right I will have two put twice the amount of time in. Then she blew dried my hair very quickly and was done. After talking to the manager about my liked than impressive outcome and questioning the cost and lack of styling. I was told that blow drying is considered styling. For what I payed, I cooked have goneto a decent salon and actually had my hair cut and styled.

I wanted to give a star or two at most because when I first walked in the lady at the register took my info and advised me that I had to pay $36 for what I wanted. Then another lady came out who didnt service me as I was about to sit and wait and advised me again it was going to be $36. When they called me to do my hair I was told a third time that it was going to be $36 dollars and that they wanted to make sure I knew it was $36. They made me feel as though they didnt think I had money. I took offense to this. Once seated I upgraded my service to get a trim. I was advised 3 more times that it was going to be an extra $15 and that they were just making sure I could afford it. The second time I took offense. The hair dresser eventually explained to me that yesterday there was an issue with a customer who tried to get out of paying for a cut. If it wasnt for the fact that I actually bonded with the hairdresser and she was super sweet to me, I would have rated this business a 1 or at very best a 2. I have been here before with my little one, and they were really friendly and helpful with my little one, so I was shocked as to the treatment I was getting, especially since they didn't treat anyone else who was serviced the same way. People just gave a name sat down, got service and left without much being said and I was there almost two hours observing. Sad to say, even though my hairdresser was nice, I will not be going there again. The 3 stars was for the hair dresser becuase she gave good conversation. My hair came out ok. I have done it better myself to be honest..It really bothers me when I have to give such a negative review but what bothers me more is the way I was judged.

I wish I was told if my hair was to short to get it done the way I wanted. My hair didn't turn out to well, but this was the first time Great Clips messed up my hair. The lady that did my hair was really nice. Over all 3 stars because of great Service and nice workers.
