I came into to dye for hair studio needing all over color and hair extensions to match.
The owner colored my extensions that i had just purchased and colored my hair as well. I noticed that the hair extensions did not get dyed completely and there were streaks through them. I politely pointed this out to the owner and she told me " it will just look sunkissed". But i wasnt paying for sunkissed, that is not what i asked for. when a customer points out that there is hair missed, thats when she shouldve taken care of it. I left that day spending over 200$ total on my hair and was not satisfied. I then called her and told her that i really didnt want this "sunkissed" look and that i wanted all of my hair to match, like i had asked for from the start. I asked her if she redyes my hair extensions will they turn out darker than the rest of my hair? she then told me " no, the missed hair will just soak up the color." so she go tme in the next day and recolored my hair extensions. There were no missed spots this time but my hair extensions were now almost 2 shades darker than the rest of my hair. This was obvious. The owner told me I could then try doing a clarifying treatment on them and see if it gets lighter as well as shampoo them a couple times. I told her that the whole reason i got the clip in hair extensions was so that i could leave them alone and just put them i nand out and that i didnt want to ruin them buy doing all of these hair treatments on them. she told me she was sorry they didnt match and then called it a "peek a boo", and told me that i could work with it. I didnt ask for SUNKISSED and i didnt ask for a damn PEEK A BOO! The way the owner made it seam like it wasnt a big deal, shocked me.. I dont think i should have to "work with something" that i payed a professional to do. If she had just gotten it all dyed the first time than this wouldnt have happened. i think i should have been compensated for my loss. I payed for the highest quality of hair i could get and now they are ruined.
i will not be going back there.
