I can't say enough good things about this salon! I just took my 10 year old son to Kayla and he came away with the best haircut he has ever had!!! He has tons of cowlicks and she knew exactly how to handle them. He has walked out of many haircuts feeling extremely upset. We had the exact opposite experience at Salon Lorrene! He loves his new haircut!!! Thank you Kayla for making my 10 year old son happy and feeling good about himself!!! We'll definitely be back!

I have been going to Salon Lorrene for the past 4 years. This is hands down the best salon in the Chicago Suburbs. It is clean, well run, organized, and the services are exceptional. I have been going to Amanda since day one. In my 35 years of searching for the perfect stylist I have to say, I've finally hit the jackpot. Amanda is a color genius. She listens well, always understand exactly what I'm looking for or trying to accomplish and will gently guide me in understanding what will and wont work on my hair. She has done Balayage, full color and Ombre' for me overt the years and I can't even begin to tell you how many people have complimented my hair!!! She also is amazing with cut. I have had long hair my entire life so I'm very stingy when it comes to cut it. I've been to so many stylist who see some split ends and can't help but cut and cut, but if you tell Amanda 1/2 an inch, she will cut 1/2 an inch. I also REALLY value her input and knowledge. So if I ask her "what do you think" I know she will give me an honest, candid and knowledgeable response. A year ago I moved out of the area and I continue to make the drive to Salon Lorrene and Amanda not only because of the amazing hair I get from seeing Amanda, but because of the entire experience and feeling I get walking into and leaving Salon Lorrene. A+++ in my book!

I have been to many salons around Palatine and I have to say that Salon Lorrene is by far better than the rest! Friendly staff and great hair stylists. Brianna is the best!!!

I made an appointment to the hairdresser whom I didn't know and did regret after that. I wanted to go to other woman, but she was busy that day. And I made appt with Amanda. She takes more expensive than others in this salon, but now I'm surprised why. I showed my hair length, said i want to trim it for 3 inches. She didn't let me finish and said "ok, ok let's wash your hair". After that she asked other girl who work there to wash my hair and went to do something else. Then i had to wait till she comes and starts with my hair, it seemed she didn't care about her clients. I showed again which length i want. And she made sure and showed me if that length is ok, I said her "NO, NOT THAT SHORT", I thought she understood. Aaand guess what was the result. She cut my hair twice shorter than i asked. And at the end she said that I wanted like that! I can't understand what for I paid 45$ !
