Not exactly thrilled with my experience. I had gone to this salon 2 years ago. The stylist I had then was no longer there. No problem. When I called to make my appointment, I was very clear on what I wanted. I had originally said I wanted full process hair color and the woman repeated back just color to me so I told her, yes, color but that my hair would need to be bleached. (I was there to make a big change.) She says okay, sets the appointment, great. I get there on Saturday, show the stylist what I want, only to be told that they only had me down for just a color and they don't have time to do my hair. Needless to say, I'm pissed. I had gotten a sitter specifically for this appointment. The stylist and the owner (I think) discuss options for a few minutes but there was no getting me what I actually came in there for. So I decide fine, I guess I'll just get a haircut since I'm already there. The haircut was barely a trim and whereas the stylist was nice enough, I literally could have gotten the same trim at Great Clips for 30 bucks cheaper. The stylist and owner were both knowledgeable and polite but very little interest in actual customer happiness. I mean, c'mon, couldn't take a few bucks off the overpriced haircut for the inconvenience? Definitely won't be returning. When I make an appointment, I expect it to be what I actually made it for. If the receptionist isn't a stylist and can't understand what people want, maybe it's time for a new receptionist.
