I love my hair every time I go there.... Dee Dee's sister always does my hair and I must say, she is very talented and takes pride in her work.... I will forever and always return to them for my braids.....

I made an appointment in October to get crotchets. I had to come back to the salon the next day to get my hair fixed because the crotchet hair was falling out, which exposed entire braids. That same night, I returned to school in Ohio. Less than a week later, I experienced the same thing. My crotchet hair was falling out which led to entire braids being exposed. I immediately called the beautician and told her that her work was unacceptable and that I would like a refund because I couldn't leave school and work to come back to Illinois for her to redo my hair again. I was then told that my request could not be honored but when I come back, she would work with me to fix her mistake. At this time, I took my hair out of the crotchets and had to get my hair done at a local salon near my school. I informed the beautician of this and even asked if she wanted pictures of proof that I took my hair down, in which she did not respond. When I finally was able to come back to DeeDee's African Hair Braiding, I was told by the beautician that her mistake was no longer her problem. Very horrible customer service!!! As a college student, working 20 hours a week while maintaining a 3.9 GPA, I felt taken advantage of and misled. I spent much money to get my hair done, only to experience a nightmare. Please do not waste your hard earned money at this salon. (I added pictures above).
