I tried Drybar Naperville for the first time today, and left with mixed feelings. The stylist I had was very kind, accommodating, and did her job well. However, when I tried to use an e-gift card, I had a much different experience. The manager tried to scan the ecard on my phone. However, she had trouble scanning it. The dollar amount gifted is also listed on the card. The manager was not successful in scanning the card, but did not offer any solution. When I said it was odd because it had just been sent to me, the manager seemed irritated. She didn't seem to believe that I was legitimately given the giftcard, and did not try to access the card in any other manner.
I liked the service from the stylist, but customer service from the manager was extremely disappointing. Not only was I not able to use my giftcard, I am not sure that I will return to this location because of the poor customer interaction from the manager.
