I need to preface my review with the fact that I tend to spend exorbitant amounts of money on hair color at high-end salons. As a first time customer, this was certainly a shift from my regular salon, but I was quite pleased with the outcome. I purchased a Groupon for highlights and Tatiana was very amiable and thorough in her work. At first I was a bit concerned because the top portion did not seem to match the bottom; it ended up blending just fine. She took her time and we were there for quite a while, so I know she put in all her best effort. She and Michael were also very kind to my 7-year old, whom I brought along. To be truthful, I was not a fan of the blowout as she seemed rather unfamiliar doing it. She did try to push products on me quite a bit, which I really do not like. Otherwise, it was a great first experience. Also, it was difficult for me to land an appointment for 4-5 days; nobody was picking up the phone and I was finally booked after reaching out via email. Michael is wonderful and welcoming and made the customer service aspect of the experience extremely worth it. They are fair in their pricing for what you get, so if you're looking for a cozy, more personable salon, I would go with Ida's.

I'm honestly surprised that this place is still even in business, apparently if you post negative reviews, Michael, who appears to be the business manager, will accuse you of being "mentally unstable" and "we hope you find the help you need". Came in for a simple haircut and couldn't be more unhappy with the result. Asked for about an inch off and ended up with almost a buzz cut, given my hair was already about 5 inches long when I came in. Apparently the people working here are the ones who are "mentally unstable" and "need help". Won't be returning and will do everything I can to make sure nobody else does either!

I can't say enough about the skills and kindness of the staff at this salon (the products they use are amazing too)! I came in the week of my wedding to get my hair cut & colored. Janet was very knowledgeable and honest yet optimistic with me about what I was hoping to leave with and the challenges of my hair in it's current state. I had (knowingly) been neglecting my hair over the past year or so and it was limp, lifeless, and extremely damaged to say the least, then I came waltzing in asking for baylayage so that I would look good for my honeymoon (yes I was that girl). I have NO idea how Janet pulled off the transformation but I can't even describe how significantly she changed the texture of my hair. The color and cut both looked incredibly awesome, but what she did for the general condition of my hair was a freaking miracle. I came back the next day for a mani & pedi with Janet after being so impressed. This turned out awesome as well and once again she was fantastic about listening to what I wanted and making recommendations that were spot on. Another thing I should mention is that I was a complete basket case/hot mess when I was there the day before my wedding - I was scatter-brained, uber emotional, late, and, on the second day, fighting a residual migraine. Janet, Michael, and everyone I encountered were the most understanding, flexible, and comforting people I could have asked for and I've FINALLY found my salon!!

They do a great job on my hair colour and I love the fact they are a family owned business. I would definitely give ithem a five star

Tatiana was wonderful. She did my Keratin treatment today and was not only a pleasure to talk to, but she also did a very thorough job on my hair. I've had keratin treatments at other salons, and this turned out better than the rest. Highly recommend her!
