I had been here once before a got a nice hair cut staff were great. I made a second appointment but with a different stylist because the previous one no longer worked there. Though the staff were really great, nice people (and the only reason there are any stars), I got a bad haircut this time. While cutting my hair, she parted it down the middle (I part on the side). I asked, "Is it going to make a difference that you you are parting it down the middle when I part my hair on the side?" She said, "No, the way I cut it doesn't make a difference where you part it." Ok, I trusted her. I also mentioned that the one side has hair that is frizzier and thicker because of an accident I was in, it grew back different. I thought that might be needed info. So, anyhow, she cut, styled it, I left, and I have tried to like it and make it work. It's been a week. However, one side has a bunch of layers that the other does not. Totally weird and lop-sided. The layers are literally 3 inches shorter on one side. Of course it also happens to be the side with the thicker, frizzier hair. So the one side with less hair (because of the side part) is long, flat, and thin and the other side is like a big poof ball from all the layers and frizzier hair. I would go back and get it fixed but that would require chopping everything 3 inches shorter - and I told her I was growing it out (which took me a year) and did not want any layers except maybe some long ones, if required to make it look ok due to my previous style (which was an angled bob). So now, $65 ($85 with tip) later, I guess I get to wear my hair up for another year while it grows out because I look like a moron with a part down the middle if I try and make both sides look the same. Note to stylist: Listen to your client. I told you everything you needed to know to do it correctly. This isn't a bad hair cut because my expectations where unrealistic or never made clear to you. You really were a nice person but, honestly, I would rather have a good haircut from a horrible person.
