I went to Scissori Salon after going to Texture Pointe Salon (also in Highland) and receiving probably the worst haircut I've ever had in my life. I went to Scissori Salon in an attempt to get it fixed. The stylist at Texture Pointe had given me extremely choppy layers and cut my hair MUCH shorter than she and I had discussed. Ora at Scissori managed to soften all the choppy layers without my losing an additional significant length. She also cut my bangs perfectly, and that is saying something, as I am very picky about how my bangs are cut. I also had her wax my eyebrows and they also looked absolutely flawless. I can't wait to go back and I'm very happy to have finally found a place I can rely on for my haircuts.

Worst experience of my life. They burnt and fried my hair, now I cant even brush it because it breaks off. Then they had the nerve to charge me $245. And when I called the next day to speak to the owner or manager I was to they were not there but would meet me the following day. I travel all the way from lake station to highland with grand baby for nobody to be there except their receptionist and the lady who did this to my hair. So I go next door to wait a little while only for the owner paul to call me and tell me I was advised of this happening, as if I would pay $245 for this. And now the owner wont answer his phone and when I call the salon their real snotty and no manager or owner are there. I cant even leave my house rite now cause its so embarrassing. You would think them being such a "high class salon" they would refund me my money. Shame on them. So please if you care about your hair and looks don't go there!!!

I took my fiancee there to get an ombre for her birthday. She was looking very forward to getting her hair styled for quite some time. We arrived on time and her stylist Amanda was being held over with another customer. This took about a half hour before she was able to see my fiancee and get started on her hair. She really wanted to go with a lighter color but said if that wasn't possible to go with a redish color to blonde. The stylist said that going lighter wouldn't work and brought out a sample of colors and suggested a "Golden Rose" color which we later found out was only created in the salon two weeks prior. So that was the color she went with trusting her stylist whom she had been seeing for years. Once the work was started I could see from the waiting area that my fiancee was not happy and that she would never go with a color that shocking. Needless to say we left there she was extremely unsatisfied. We called back and they were nice enough to offer an appointment to try and fix the problem and this was the reason for the real review. Her stylist seemed upset that she had to fix her work was short and just basically slapped some brown dye over the red and called it a day. Point being if you have some experimental product you should mention it to your customer, if you make a mistake or have a dissatisfied patron be extra courteous. And it is this reason for the bad review and this reason we will no longer be customers here. 162 dollars for these services.
