Even though the site says they open at 9, my appointment was schedule at 10am. I arrived at the salon at 9:50am, to find the place still closed. The lady that was to cut/color my hair did not arrive until 9:55am and walked right past me with no acknowledgment. We followed her inside and waited 5 minutes for her to check the voicemails before being acknowledged. I received a gift certificate for Christmas, so I advised the lady I was there for the cut and color I had scheduled a few days prior. When discussing what I wanted, she told me that because my hair was so dark, what I wanted would not be achieved at this appointment, but that she could do an ombré on my hair instead as kind of the first step. I advised that that would be fine. During the process, she got bleach on the back of my shirt, which I was not told about until she was shampooing my hair. She advised it was very little, but did offer to repay me for it. I advised her it was an inexpensive shirt and if it was just a small amount, I was not worried about it. Once home, I realized it was significantly more than a small dot, it was almost 1/3 of my shirt. Now for the color and cut, both turned out absolutely horrible. The color was blotchy (you can see patches of my previous dark brown where there should be blonde) and the cut is not layered properly at all. As well, instead of a brown to blonde ombré, I received brown to ORANGE. I also had my 6 week old son with me in his stroller sleeping and my 4 year old daughter as well for a hair cut and nail painting (princess package they called it). The girl that was assisting my daughter was EXTREMELY rude the entire time, snipping at my daughter to hold still and losing her temper when she was attempting to talk to everyone because she was so excited. As well, she had her 1.5 year old daughter with her, which kept some, but frankly not enough of her attention, as the child kept attempting to CLIMB onto and on top of my son. There was also a gentleman working at the time and in the middle of trimming another gentleman’s hair, received a personal call to his cell phone, which he IMMEDIATELY answered and then proceeded to STOP cutting his client’s hair and sat in the chair next to his booth to talk on the phone! All in all, it was a very horrible experience and a very unprofessional place.
