I have gotten my hair cut here for 3 1/2 years now by the amazing hairstylist Mercede. I have not once walked away with a bad hair cut or anything short of perfection. Amazing service by a true professional. Would, and have, recommended both her and sports clips to everyone I know. Great place for superb service.

The massage shampoo and back massage were great, but not worth the $30 I spent on them and the $15 im about to go spend to get my haircut fixed. AWFUL MILITARY CUTS. DO NOT GO HERE FOR MILITARY CUTS. I had to learn the hard way.

I've used Sport Clips since I moved to Manhattan in 2012. Now, I promise, I will not be returning. Stylist suggested MVP, without acting like it would cost anything.. Not a big deal, I was willing to pay for that, especially to avoid needing another shower. After washing my hair she then asked "can I condition your hair as well?" Seeing this as an offer, I accepted. Little did I realize that would cost another extra $5. So my planned $17 haircut, $24 after washout, turned quickly into a $30 trip. Not worth it at all, and frankly, when you can see that I've never washed out before, I should not be expected to "just know" their pricing, or the definition of a triple MVP. Regardless, I'll be headed to great clips next time. At least there I will know exactly what I'm getting and what it'll cost me.

I got one terrible haircut and gave them the benefit of the doubt and went and got a second one. It was worst than the first one. I asked for the exact same crew cut I get everytime and got a bull cut. It is terrible! Had to go to a real barber to get it fixed.

They are friendly here, but not very good at cutting hair, they are more concerned with selling you an MVP even when you tell them no, they ask again. $19 for a haircut is pretty expensive and it should be better than your average barber, which they are not.
