Devine establishment. You walk in and feel immediately at home this beautifully decorated and friendly feel salon. The folks who work here after quite outgoing and welcoming and you feel like you've always known them by the time you leave. Prices are affordable given the and for students in need of cost friendly haircuts they deliver with a student discount; just bring your student ID. Location is perfect. Right in the heart of downtown Congress street where the is gone stop got traffic. I think the only downside is as you know parking in Portland. That is not their fault just the reality of businesses in Portland. I would recommend morning or late afternoon appointments to best have a chance of parking nearby. To much good to say about Salon Paragon. I recommended checking them out for your next hair care need.

I've been going to Shawn for almost a year now. I've also been away at college for the past year but didn't trust any of the nearby barbers around campus. Shawn's work is GREAT. I've had my hair cut three different ways ever since I've been going to Shawn and he found ways to make them all look great. Also, the charge rate is undervalued for the work provided. $25 for a great head of hair is well worth it. Another great aspect is that Salon Paragon gives you the coffee shop feeling. You feel as though you are in a coffee shop because of the casualness of the salon. Every employee is friendly. If you're looking for a great haircut for a good price, book an appointment at Salon Paragon.

I've been getting my hair cut at Salon Paragon for about a year now. It is set in a great contemporary salon run by Shawn. Shawn is an expert at what he does, and I always leave his Salon satisfied. Very good prices, very comfortable atmosphere, it is the only place I trust to cut my hair exactly the way I want it cut. I only get my cut from Shawn, but all of the stylists there are great. Everyone engages you from the time you walk in to the time you leave, and it just makes for a great experience beyond that of your usual haircut. I noticed that I'm not the only one enjoying myself. Everyone there is having a good time; Both the stylists and the customers, It's just a "feel good" atmosphere. Plus, there is coffee and a cozy seating area while you wait for your stylist. I highly recommend Salon Paragon. Shawn will be my stylist for years to come, I'm sure of it.
