The most unprofessional experience ever

I made an appointment for box braids on a Thursday, including the standard deposit of $50. My appointment was for the following Sunday. I was 15 minutes late for my appointment, because I got lost. I even called to tell them. The stylist was braiding someone else's hair when I arrived. 2.5 hours later she was still braiding that person's hair - a relative - and made very little effort to work on my hair. She did put some leave in conditioner spray on my head and put me under the dryer for an hour. I left and she 'apologized' and said at least I got complementary conditioning. Is this a joke? How do you book an appointment days in advance and make no effort to make the appointment work? I have never in my life had such an unprofessional experience. Not even an attempt to return my $50 payment? A useless apology and no concern that I waited 2.5 hours. I will never return and be sure to leave feedback EVERYWHERE on what an unprofessional experience I had at this place.

Ebony was my stylist. She was very professional and kind to me (she gave me a discount). She explained many things about my hair in a way for me to understand. She asked me questions about how I take care of it, products that I use, what I wanted. The shop is clean and inviting. Everyone who worked there was complimentary to me about my hair when it was done. I looked and felt great! 8 months ago I visited this salon and the stylist who did my daughter's hair did a FANTASTIC job and I was very pleased because she cornrowed my daughter's hair exactly as the picture that I provided her. Although, she gave me a hard time about me washing my daughter's hair before her appointment in the future to save time even though washing is included. Her hair was done neat and washed thoroughly. I also had my hair done here in the past and I was happy with the finished style that I requested. I will definitely come back in the future. On Saturday May 7, 2022 I made an appointment over the phone with the receptionist to get feed-in cornrows. My appointment was set for Sunday the 8th but the receptionist failed to mention that with new stylists and new management that hair is not included in the style nor did she mention the price of the style that I requested. On the day of my appointment I was on time but had to wait 30 minutes to get my hair done. As I waited for the stylist to finish another customer's hair, which she was just getting started with a curl and style, that was when the stylist E, explained to me that hair is included upon the discretion of the stylist. Than she proceed to tell me after having waited almost an hour at this point that I had to supply my own hair for feed-in cornrows. Once I stepped out to purchase the hair at a nearby beauty supply store walking distance from the salon the stylist E, didn't tell me that the fee for my requested style would be $200, which was disappointing and unexpected. I was very dissatisfied and disappointed with the late information of pricing and my time being waisted having to wait 30 minutes only to be told that I needed to buy my own hair. Since my last visit here the customer service is very poor and I will never come here again.
