Friendly environment, and friendly employees. However, if you have textured hair (specifically black natural hair) I would not recommend their services. I left with my scalp dirty and filled with dandruffs. The stylist who did my hair, was not educationally equipped to style hair that is Afro textured. I was highly disappointed and dissatisfied with the outcome of my hair. I came in for a wash and flat ironing, my stylist looked scared to touch my hair, as if she had never styled someone with Afro textured hair before. I essentially got my hair styled, while it was still dirty. And, I did not appreciate the stylist(s)for trying to gaslight me into thinking my hair looked great, when they could clearly see the flakes at the perimeter of my hair. My hair was far from being straightened, my roots are still curly, and this service was a waste of my time and money, as I could’ve done a much better job. Also, the stylist(s) at this location kept trying to have me do a keratin treatment, so my hair could be more “manageable” for them. I have never experienced a professional salon not being able to do a simple style on Afro textured hair. It would be appreciated to let your potential clients know that you DO NOT have stylists that can manage black or Afro textured hair. It’s 2024, this type of service/ ignorance should be unacceptable. Do not advertise your employees as professionals, if they can only perform styles on straight hair.
