I typically stay away from Hair Cuttery-- I prefer going to a local or boutique barbershop. This particular Hair Cuttery has some rude personnel (especially over the phone) and a couple barbers in the past who simply don't listen to what you want in a cut. Still, I go here because Sonny is a decent barber with solid attention to detail. I would recommend going over to White's Barbershop over on Main St. in Laurel over this spot.

POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. I went in at 5:00pm on a Saturday. It was lightly snowing, not even sticking to the roads. There was one customer getting a haircut. As I approached the front desk I was told by one of the two hairdressers standing at the back of the salon that they were closing early and were not taking any customers. Didn't even ask what I had come in for, didn't approach me at the front desk to apologize for the huge inconvenience (I drove 20 minutes to this location because it used to be a good one), just said that and stared at me. There was no sign on the door indicating they were closing early, the doors were not locked. Extremely unprofessional. I used to come to this location a lot but my last few experiences were sub par and now this one has sealed it for me. Never going back. Best part is, I was only there for a quick trim. It should have been an in and out fast thing. There was obviously a hair dresser available since there was only one customer being served and two hair dressers on the floor.

Rachel is amazing! She listens and takes her time to give you an amazing cut. The atmosphere in this shop is also very warm and inviting.

My undercut was done in such a hurry, it was done in like 5 minutes. Shampoo but no conditioner, the stylist did not even towel dry or blow dry afterwards. No styling product at the end. Sided my hair to the wrong side. I have been going to hair cuttery all my life, this one is by far the worst.
