After a thorough consult with Dally, the owner, of this salon, I booked an appontment. My hair needed a double process as it pulls orange and red, and I am a cool tone person. I was assured at my consult, Dally could indeed do a double process. At my appointment, I was, yet agin, told she could lift it to cool tones by single process color. She applied color and hi-light at the same time, set timer and never checked the processing. Needless to say, it came up warm. While lighting in the salon is poor at best, I said it was okay and remained to be seen. She also cut my hair. They offer free eyebrow wax for first time clients. I am so unhappy..$190.00 total plus tip. I am disabled and was in great pain when I left her with tip. She burned my eyebrow. My Dr. and a prof. Stylist both say the wax was too hot. Dally insists this is not so or both eyes would have been burnt. During color app. she got color on eye that was burnt.
Upon goin to salon to discuss a re-imbursement for color,[I was more than happt to have her keep the $$ for cut and tip] I was met with condescending, laughing. Also told my color was that of photo we agreed upon, Cameron Diaz, nothing like, being orange, red and gold. My highlights never lifted evenly and are varying shades of yellow and gold. She offered to "fix" my hair, but who would feel comfortable in that situation? I stopped payment on the check for $90.00 and am taking her to sm. claims as its going to cost over $200. to correct, I am told by 3 different stylists. Before you go here, I hope you read this and also, the $50./ 45 minute cut took 10 mins.
