Betsy is awesome! She is the only person to cut my hair since it grew back after my chemo and radiation treatments. She gets my hair and I always get lots of compliments on my hair. Yes I could go somewhere less costly, but it would not be worth it to dislike the results. And they are less expensive than some other places where the people were cold and distant. Hair Express exemplifies great customer service.

Excellent service and very friendly staff. My son came in as a walk-in and they took him right in and did a great cut. I would recommend over the other salons in pittsfield.

Had a great trim once as a walk in, exactly what I wanted. So I went back with an appointment, totally not satisfied, bad haircut! Asked for 1 inch off trim, feathered...got a chopped uneven blunt cut mess!

Never went here. But, I called to find out the price of a man's hair cut. $15!? Seriously? With that price, you get no tip from me. Down where I live, hair cuts cost roughly $10. If you do an OK job, you get a $2 tip. You do a really good job, you get $5 tip. At a $15 price tag, I can not decide to tip appropriately. Sorry, not doing business here. By the way, I live where it is much more expensive to live than here.
