I've been going to great clips for several years. About 1 out of every 4 haircuts is horrible. Today was the worst and I won't be going back. She hid me from the mirrors while she was cutting and worked on several spots for long periods of time. My simple fade ended up on the top of my head on one side and normal on the other. The top was supposed to be an inch long and ended up being about a half inch because she was trying to cover up here extreme screw up. I would not recommend great clips of lapeer

Won’t be going back, I’ve never wrote a review before but this time is special. Waited an hr, (not their fault clearly busy and understaffed) finally got in the chair and told her how it has been done every other visit and as listed on my notes. She completely botched it, not sure if she has ever cut hair before but she sat me facing away from both mirrors in the front or back so I couldn’t see what my hair was looking like to correct her. Forgot to put the white disposable fabric around my neck before the bib. As she cut I knew something was wrong because she worked on one particular spot for a long time and I can only assume it was a mistake due to the sloppy clipping I felt on my head. She frequently nicked me with the corner of the guards hard enough to move my head and leave scratches. Left clear lines where a fade SHOULD be and ended up using a short guard so far on top of my head it’s unfixable. To add insult to injury she didn’t even line up my sideburns. I told her at the end of the haircut somewhat laughing trying not to be rude “I hate it”. And she laughed and said “really?” I told her I’m not sure what I can even do with this but she seemed happy with the result so I have her the benefit of the doubt and said “I’ll go home and try it and see what I can do”. The cut was so bad (picture upon request) I went back not 30 min later and told them to buzz it. And trust me, I am much better off with the buzz but I am upset that after all that trouble I ended up with a haircut I could have done myself at home. My advice, go literally anywhere else. I’ve had a few good experiences here but only when I got the same person. The staff is constantly being moved around (probably because the terrible ones get fired and the good ones go to a better employer) and it’s hard to get a consistent cut even with notes. I’ve been there almost every three weeks for a few years now and only seen the same people a handful of times and only received good cuts by a few. The only reason I kept coming back was the hope that I’d get lucky and get someone that know what they’re doing, and sometimes I did. But those were few and far between. So I reiterate, LOOK ELSEWHERE.

I can't believe that place is still in business. I've been there three times an im not impressed for the price or the quality of the service. It's bad when you have to fix your hair cut when you get home.. Stay away!!

Horrible is all I can say my son left this Great Clips in tears! We told her finger length on the top and she buzzed all his hair off:( We won't be going back here!!!
