There isn't a better place in Northern Michigan to get your hair done. The whole staff is the best there is, and they pamper you like no other. This is the only place that I go to the get my hair cut and colored. I have gone to other places and they have messed my hair up, so it's only Vogue Salon & Spa for me.

I was a little skeptical at first because my hair is difficult to deal with. I am mixed with puertorican and black so my hair is really thick and curly. Unfortunately there is not alot of people here in northern michigan that have experience with my type of hair. Let me just say that was proven wrong when my hair stylist "Kyle" touched my hair. He really brought my hair to life. I had a deep conditioning treatment , blowout and cut. He was very kind and made my overall experience relaxing. Let me just say the aveda tea is absolutely delicious. Kyle your amazing and ill definitely be back to see you again :)

The lovely ladies of Vogue Salon are true magicians! They did an amazing job on the hair and makeup for my wedding, and were an absolute pleasure to work with throughout the whole wedding planning process. Marcie, the owner, responded to all my questions and helped create the perfect schedule for hair and makeup for six of us on-location at our house the day of our wedding. From the second I walked into the salon for my trial with Claire and Maymie, I knew I made the right choice. Everyone was super friendly and welcoming, and made us feel right at home. The morning of the wedding, the stylists all arrived super bright and early (6:45!!) to get us looking beautiful for the big day. We are all not really makeup people (e.g., I maaaaybe put on mascara when I’m feeling motivated, and that’s it), so were truly going for a natural look. The hair and makeup artists 100% delivered on this, and tailored each woman’s look to her specific style while keeping a cohesive look for the whole bridal party. Claire came back to our house later in the day for quick touch up before our reception, and went above and beyond; she not only fixed my hair after a windy afternoon at the beach, but touched up the rest of the bridal party as well, which wasn’t in the original plan. I seriously cannot recommend Vogue Salon highly enough for their friendly, responsive service and beautiful work!
