It's difficult to find a gem among the many posers in the salon business .. and other businesses for that matter. I have exacting requirements and expectations (and willing to pay for it). I gave this place a shot and they far exceeded expectations. Thank you Katie's Korner!

Had to rate it just to put up review! Worse place EVER! They act like there a high class salon,and far from it! Went there to get my hair striped and colored.Came out Red and GREEN! So upset they said" come back next week,we'll fix it" mind you I drove over 30 miles one way to this place.The Fact That Tonya and Lori were reading directions from a box, on a product a professional is supposed to know ,told me thet werent professional at all. Tonya wrecked my Hair,Lori sits there and just says she likes the color, I didn't ask for BoZo Orange,asked for brown hair..!!! They were Rude as I was balling my eyes out.I ask to talk to manager/owner and get a quick call from The Macomb County Sherrifs office,BC I was crying I'm not welcomed There,and be charged with a 12/5!!!Wow they fix there mistakes by calling the police!!! Really,gonna charge someone $200 not only did she not cut it right, but she first turned my hair GREEN, and end Result was ORANGE!! REPEAT IF GO HERE YOUR WASTING YOUR HARD EARDED MONEY ON RUDE WOMAN!! Could have gotten a better hair do from 8 Mile rd..Where I drove from thinking they were High Class,they so Low Class Tonya and Lori mess up your hair,then don't fix it,they call the cops so they can RIP YOU OFF!!!!!ALL I SAID WAS IM NOT HAPPY AND HOW MUCH DO I OWE YOU?That is not being Irate, called a complaint, ask for the Owner they call the Cops!! Pre- warning for all those not familiar with this place (have the pictures to prove this incompetence!)ALSO NEVER THREATENED OR WOULDN'T HAVE PAID OR GIVEN TIP,FOR THEY SAID THEY WOULD FIX IT...HOW IS THAT A THREAT...SITTING IN TEARS,THE MACOMB COUNTY POLICE OFFICER EVEN SAID WOW "MAYBE YOU SHOULD PRESS CHARGES" for what they did.Crying is not a crime...What they did to my hair is!!! ALSO have posted pics of the whole process. Owner says "come back I'll fix it" as I was crying, soon as I left they call ed the police said I was irate,again the Macomb County Sheriff's recognize they actually had no right to call, and if anything I should be taking them to court...which might still do for if professional,the stylist wouldn't habe been reading directions of products they supposedly use...hmmm not professional more like a teaching stylist!!! I'm a Big Google reviewer and this only Bad Review ever given.Have put other stores on News for my great help and review's, So take as a grain of salt when they try to tell you different!!!

I have been a customer at Katie's Korner Salon since the day they opened. I use all services offered from Manicure's and Pedicure's to Salon cut and style. Everyone on staff is very professional and friendly and they do a great job! I have never left there without being completely satisfied with my hair and nails! They also have a boutique with fantastic items at very affordable prices!

Well, I'm mostly bald, so it's not exactly my review, but my daughter got her hair cut at this salon. She is two years old & probably pretty hard to keep in her seat, especially when getting a hair cut. My wife took her and had nothing but great things to say about the staff & experience, so I thought that I would throw up a quick review because it is a local business & my wife said that they did a very good job, at a very good price, and they are very good people. My wife & daughters are sold on the place - my daughters don't have much choice :) . Highly recommend!

I would like to recommend Katie's Korner Salon. I have had Lori Walsh color, cut & style my hair for years. My hair is always done up to date with styling which I appreciate. People always compliment me and ask "who does your hair"
