I highly recommend Tara, she is absolutely amazing!! I am a regular and I only trust Tara to cut and color my hair! I was going from dark brown, to blonde and she gave me trips/tricks to help lighten my hair and how to keep my hair healthy during the bleaching process. So helpful! I had gotten a hair trim with layers at the Faribault location, and they did a horrible job. So I went back to Tara to have her fix it and she is a miracle worker!

I love this Fantastic Sam's. The price is great for the whole family and all of the staff is wonderful they recognize us as soon as we walk in! We moved recently to Burnsville and we still insist on traveling the extra 15 minutes to come to this location. We haven't had as great of service at other Fantastic Sam's. We are pretty loyal to this place! Overall this is a "fantastic" place!

So, I went in on a Tuesday to get a grey and black ombre look to my hair, plus a cut. The first stylist I got was Tara. She did my hair for my junior prom, so I felt like I could trust her with my hair, as I have never done this look before. Almost two years back, I had dyed my hair red. However, its been so long and it had faded and my hair grew out, I thought just getting it chopped at the ends would take care of anything left over. Tara asked me if my color was natural, and given what I just mentioned, I said yes. Well, come to find out, red is hard to get out of your hair, even if it looks like it is. So, I was told to come in on any day but Sunday, and that Tara would fix the brownish looking parts for free. So, I came back in on Friday to get that done, and Tara was leaving. It was, like, 5pm? I could not come on Saturday, because we were going somewhere for New Years. So, I said it was fine if someone else fixed it. Big mistake. The blackish blue color on top of my head had streaks of blonde in it, when there wasn't before. The color not even close to grey. The ends of my hair ruined. And I was told to come again in a month. Um, no. I don't have money to fix this, and the whole reason I even came in again was to fix it. If I had known it would turn out like this, I would have just left it the way it was. The second person seemed angry that I didn't like it, and was rude. Look here, Its my hair, not yours! I neither said nor did anything rude to you, I just didn't jump up and down with joy. Anyway, went home, was crying, then got angry. I WILL be getting my money back. Never again will I go here. Jerks.

I always have my hair cut by Tara who does a great job and knows how I like my hair cut, highly recommend her!

I've had some really great experiences here getting my hair cut and colored. The staff is very friendly! I've gone in a few times to get my eyebrows done and they don't always come out looking even.
