I went in to get my hair cut at this place and took a picture of the exact cut I wanted so I could show the hairdresser and avoid any confusion as to what I wanted. Ashton was really excited to cut my hair as she "loves when people come in for such a drastic change." She was so excited, she took it upon herself to take an EXTRA FIVE INCHES off of the cut I showed her. It was supposed to have been a few inches lower than my chin, but she cut it all the way up to my ear. It was an asymmetrical cut and the short side was supposed to have been long enough to tuck behind my ear. Instead, most of the short side isn't much more than an inch long. The long side isn't even long enough to tuck behind my ear without hair pins. Once she dried it and I got a look at it, I told her, with tears in my eyes, that it was much shorter than what I had asked for. She shrugged her shoulders at me and said "Sorry, at least now you won't have to cut it for a while." I walked into this shop with hair nearly to my waist and paid this girl $25 to scalp me. I cried all the way home. I wish I could post pictures here so that I could show everyone just how drastic a difference there is between the cut I asked for and the cut I received.

Headwaves is the best place to get your hair cut- period. Jay Shows, at Headwaves, has been cutting my hair for the past 3 years, and every time I go see him, I walk out lookin fresh to death.
