BEFORE YOU READ: If you don't want to read a long review, skip all my rambling and get your haircut at Hair Salon for Men; you'll thank me later. REVIEW: Terrible barbers and a simply horrendous establishment. Let's go over my last, emphasis on last, visit to this place. I called before-hand to check the wait time, and I was told there was a 15 minute wait. Once I arrived at Sports Clips, that 15 minute wait quickly turned into an hour long wait. It only got worse from there. I told the barber I wanted a 1.5 inch scissor cut. The first 10 minutes of my hair cut were spent watching Sports Center while my barber was no where to be seen. Once the barber started cutting my hair, she was extremely slow and timid. Though I asked for a 1.5 inch scissor cut, the barber cut off maybe one-eighth of an inch in 25 minutes. The neck and sideburns trim took another 15 minutes. At the end of the cut, I asked the barber to take off another inch. I received an interesting answer. My barber and one of her coworkers said If another inch of hair was taken off (remember, she only cut off one-eighth on an inch off originally), my hair would stick up like alfalfa. I tried to assure the barbers that my hair product would keep rouge hairs in control, but to little avail. My barber simply refused to cut my hair any shorter, so I accepted defeat and walked over to the front desk. My bill was $19.00. Nine-teen dollars. Nine-teen.... I couldn't believe it. My mind was utterly blown. I paid $19 to get one-quarter of an inch of hair cut off. I couldn't believe my eyes, and neither could my wallet. In the end, one hour and forty minutes were wasted getting 1/4 an inch of hair cut off. Final thought: Go to Hair Salon for Men; you'll thank me later.
