Imagine going to get a wash and trim and they tell you to leave with a wet head of hair. In my many experiences of going to a multitude of hair salons, I have never had to specifically request to have my hair blow dried. Samantha made me feel like I was crazy for not understanding why I could not get my hair blow dried after she was done with my mothers hair. I personally had Evelyn do my hair and had a great experience with her. Samantha finished my mother’s hair before Evelyn was done with mine, that’s when I realized that my mom was going up to pay with a wet head of hair. I asked her why she’s paying if her hair is still wet, and Samantha told me that if you want to get your hair dried you have to specifically select that online. Now, even after looking online there is no option of selecting a wash, trim, and dry. Only wash and trim, so how does that make sense. The other reason she said we couldn’t get our hair dried was because she had more appointments coming in. But when I called before I showed up the person I spoke to told me they were not busy and that I would be able to just walk in, so that’s what I did. If she knew that they wouldn’t have had enough time for the service I wanted then why not mention that before starting. I then told her that I would happily take a blow dryer myself and dry my hair because I don’t know who in their right mind would walk of a store on a winter day with wet hair. I eventually had to go back and forth her just to be able to sit under a dryer finally. I was hoping this would be another great experience of going to the salon, but after this experience I now realize that I will happily never come back here again. Especially if Samantha is working, because it was absolutely RIDICULOUS.

Love Samantha! I’ve been going to her for 3 years for everything! From basic trims to full chops and extensions. She is always prompt on scheduling me for haircuts, and ensures that I am happy with her work before leaving her chair. Her fun personality always makes each visit enjoyable and memorable. Also 10/10 head massages with each wash!

I really hate to say this, but I received a very bad haircut here. Most of my hair was pulled to the front of my face so I couldn't see what they were doing while cutting. I wasn't listened to when I explained that I part most of my hair on one side. They said it would look fine when I parted it but it did not. The stylist should have communicated with me every step of the way so I knew what they were doing. They cut my hair shorter than I asked for because my layers were cut 6 inches above the bottom layer, it looks like a crazy uneven mullet. I would be very weary of older stylists; they do not seem to be up-to-date with latest trends. Update: also wanted to mention the hairbrush that was used on me was put right back in the drawer without sanitization. I did it see any cleaning of brushes/tools before the stylist started on me.

Samantha was wonderful; had not cut my hair for a long time and it was a mess, but she cut it very nicely. The $5 Tuesday-ONLY discount helps the budget--gave that to her as a tip--she deserved it! Will definitely be back.
