Went to the Dillards salon because they carry aveda products and I needed a long overdue trim. The girl agreed my hair was pretty thin and insisted a short layering would keep it from looking thinner, then proceeded to use the hottest water ever when washing my hair. The styling came out nice and the products were good, but she basically tore out my hair with her round styling brush. I was saying “ow” pretty regularly but I don’t think she noticed. Day 2 and 3 after the cut and my hair is so choppy and uneven with VERY DEEP layers. Will not be going back - i guess i can’t really complain for a $35 haircut.

To make a long story short it took about 6 months to straighten out my BAD haircut. Have always gone to Aveda salons but will never go back to Dillard's.
