If you admire your hair, your appearance, and your money... DO NOT GO HERE. I am fortunate enough to say that I never let anyone at Hair Excitement touch my hair.. and after my best friend's experience there, I would never let a Hair Excitement employee come near me or my hair with a 10-foot pole. My beautiful best friend once had naturally light brown hair that she will never get back after the horrific damage Hair Excitement did to her. She asked for a natural looking ombre and Hair Excitement literally died the top of her hair black and BLEACHED HER ENTIRE HEAD. The employee who wrecked my friend's hair actually believed this looked good??? After my best friend came home crying we went back to the salon to see who allowed a blind or unqualified employee to do this REAL damage to a REAL person!! The fact that this woman was paid REAL money for a job that I could have done to my friend for 5 dollars at Rite Aid with a sharpie marker and a bottle of bleach is actually comical. My personal experience at the salon was quite eye-opening. The employees and regional manager were extremely rude, degrading, and acted as if there wasn't a problem. They refused to give a full refund and had absolutely no sense of sympathy or remorse for what was done. To this day I am still astounded this actually happened and wasn't a cruel prank against my dearest friend. DO NOT GO TO THIS SALON!!!!!!! THEY WILL RUIN YOUR LIFE. HAIR EXCITEMENT DOES NOT EVEN DESERVE A 1 STAR.

I'm a mess of a college kid with no idea what to do with my hair but Vicki fricken killed it. I gave her snip bits of my hair background and she knew exactly what to do on top of her exceptional customer service. I love my new hair and have found a go-to spot.

If there was an option to give 0 stars for this salon I would easily choose that option. 2 years after going to this salon I am still trying to repair the damage they did to my hair. In one picture it shows the picture I showed the stylist (who said she could recreate it- as my natural hair color was already a light brown so all that needed to be done was a simple ombre). Somehow the top of my hair got died jet black and the bottom was completely bleached. When she unraveled the towel not only was I absolutely horrified, I could tell by the look in her eye that she was as well. But surely, she quickly rushed me to the register and sent me on my way. When I got back to my apartment to assess the damage I was even more horrified and utterly embarrassed, and immediately got them on the phone. I informed them of what had happened and scheduled an appointment to go back in and for them to assess the damage. The regional manager of Hair Excitement came in to this appointment. When I returned from the salon, the hair-dresser and regional manager acted as if my hair looked okay. They were rude, unhelpful, and unsympathetic. They offered to have someone at the salon fix my hair but I quickly refused this offer because I would never trust a salon where they would hire people so incompetent to allow me to leave looking the way I did. After the dispute with the regional manager, they refused to give me a refund, stating that the next hairdresser to try and attempt to fix this massacre on my head would use the dye they put on. EVEN THOUGH, I clearly never asked for the top of my hair to be dyed jet black. I clearly stated to keep it my natural color. 2 years later I am still in utter shock that this occurred to me and that I still paid over $150 to have it done. To reference what I looked like, my close friends told me that I could be a 'crack-addict,' homeless person, or a character from American Horror Story for Halloween that year. I would never encourage even my worst enemy to go to this salon. I had to go to multiple salons over the next few months to repair the color. To this day I still use a purple shampoo and have to regularly get my hair dyed to stop it from turning orange (which never happened in the 20 years before I went here). All and all never go to this salon.

Jamie has been cutting and coloring my hair for almost 5 years and I couldn't be happier! She takes the time to listen and then does her magic. Not only does she do a wonderful job on my hair but she is a pleasure to be with. If my appointment happens fall during her vacation, she sets me up with another stylist. Over the years, I have had 4 other stylists fill in for Jamie and each and every one has done a great job. Thank you everyone!

I loved my experience with the hairdresser Katie. She fixed the previously ruined haircut and adviced the shape suitable for my hair type. Finally I don't have to hide my hair and can comfortably grow it. Very happy with the haircut !
