Love... My stylist Janet is superb. Patient, listens, puts your desires and vision before hers - no ego and is completely trustworthy. What else could you possibly want from your hair stylist?? Aside from skills, that is. Well, look no further. Janet regularly attends courses in Vegas and Florida on color and cut and it shows. I'm also very fortunate because when I know I have an upcoming appointment with Janet, I know in advance that whatever I ask for is what I'll get and I also know the person I'm getting is drama free with a great personality. Think about that for a minute and just realize how difficult in this area it is to get drama free, skilled, attentive service from someone that's completely focused on the goal; your hair. Invaluable. I am a blond with highlights and touch up for greys near center part and Janet's skills with blondes are superior. I never leave overdone, brassy, uneven, or underdone. The look I leave with is never lazy and that's because Janet truly is the hardest working stylist I've ever found. The salon itself is kind of a hidden resource for many other beauty options, classes, give-aways and services. Not to mention, how locked in the girls are to current styles, hair, makeup, skin aesthetics and procedures....😉 Book your appointments well in advance because Janet is in demand. And she's not the only one - although they don't style my own hair, I observe the other ladies like April who is edgy, gifted, a real color virtuoso and Shima, who is sweet, very attentive with champion cutting skills - I know both of these girls to be long term class acts with full lists of loyal and grateful clients. I have all good things to say about 401 West and it's staff. I've been going there for the past 6-7 years and I look forward to each and every appointment. Jae

I Went To A Hair Salon Called 401 West In Galloway NJ . Yesterday I Was Very Excited To Get My Cut And Use The Deva Products In My Hair . I Also Went For Coloring. The Stylist Did Not Cut My Hair Even , And She Did Not Tell Me About Any Of The Products , She Said "Mixed Chicks" Is A Good Product I Should Use That. She Didn't Know Anything About My Hair Texture, Or How To Style It. It Was Very Frustating And I Left With Highlights, Which I Said In The Beginning I Hated . I Called The Salon Requesting A Refund , And They Said They Couldn't Give Me One I Spent $140 On Nothing !!! I Don't Want To Go Back , I Just Want My Money Back
